Food Engineering
The objectives of the doctoral program in Food Engineering are to deepen the knowledge students gained in the bachelor and master studies in the field of Technological Engineering, in the scientific field of Food Engineering, as well as the acquisition of scientific skills and academic skills, develop creative skills needed in the analysis of food - technological processes, research and development of new processes and development and optimization of existing processes in food technology, management and control of processes in food technology, designing food technology processes, an analysis of interactions between processes in food technology and the environment, optimizing food technology processes.
In addition, the objectives of this study program are development of skills necessary for independent and team work, communication skills and presentation of results to professionals and general public, and also to raise students’ awareness of the need for continuing education.
