In 2026, from 2nd to 4th September, the Faculty of Technology Novi Sad will host attractive international scientific event in the field of biotechnology - the international scientific conference:
2nd PHOTOREFINERIES:
2nd International Conference on Novel Photorefineries for Resource Recovery.
This important scientific event is organized within the framework of the COST Action PURPLEGAIN and will bring together researchers from biotechnology, chemical engineering, and other related scientific disciplines. Following the great success and highly positive feedback from the first PHOTOREFINERIES conference, held in 2024 at the University of Valladolid (Spain), which gathered more than 170 participants from 26 countries, we believe that the second edition of the conference will provide an outstanding opportunity to exchange the latest scientific results and to discuss applications and sustainable solutions in biotechnology, with a particular focus on purple bacteria, cyanobacteria, and microalgae.
