We are pleased to invite you to the DEMATEN workshop which will take place from 3 to 5 March in Brno, Czech Republic. This will be the final of a series of workshops on "Processing, Characterisation, Properties and Applications of Nanostructured Ceramics and Nanocomposites" organized annually within the framework of FP7 Project "DEMATEN". The focus of this year’s workshop will be “Processing of Nanostructured Ceramics and Nanocomposites”.  The workshop is open to all interested scientists and there will be no registration fee.

Proceedings

  • Book of abstracts
  • Special issue of Processing and Applications of Ceramics (PAC) – Manuscripts submitted for the Workshop Proceedings will be published, after review, in a special issue of the International Journal "Processing and Application of Ceramics". They should have the format mentioned at the official site of the Journal, and should be sent (in pdf format) to Dr. Karel Maca.  Please keep the size of the manuscript below 3 MB.

The workshop will be held at the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technicka 2896/2 (building A5, lecture hall P6), Brno, Czech Republic.

Important dates

  • 31 January 2011 – Deadline for Online Registration. Please mention in the message text your affiliation and the title of a possible presentation.
  • 31 January 2011 – Deadline for Abstract Submission (to be sent by e-mail to Dr. Karel Maca). The abstracts should be written in English, using Times New Roman font. An abstract should not exceed one A4 page and should include: title, author(s), affiliation(s) description, abstract, contact person. Use bold for the title fonts. Please indicate type of presentation (oral/poster).
  • 3 March 2011 – Deadline for Manuscript Submission for Proceedings and Applications of Ceramics (to be sent by e-mail to Dr. Karel Maca).
